He also conducts research on the interactions between the marine environment and aquaculture, notably the ecological and socio-economic impact of aquaculture activities. He has a substantial scientific output in aquaculture, marine sciences, and bioresource genetics along the Moroccan and global coasts, with several dozen international scientific publications.
