PhD, Msc. Oceanography and Applications; and Engineer in Oceanography and Limnology. I have: Multiple Academic and Professional contributions with Universities and Companies relevant to the Coastal Sectors.
Research focus on coastal hydrodynamic (interaction flow/vegetation, sediment transport, tide and distortion, wave dynamics and variability, Climate index variability and some correlation with extreme events, currents and mesoscale activities, Marine Connectivity, Sea Level Rise and Climate Change),
Involve in Operational Oceanography and Coastal dynamic.
Now on: implementing a Regional configuration on the Macaronesian Region with a great transition in between large scales (2Km) and local scales (400m) around islands (Canary Islands, Madeira, Funchal and the Northern West African Coast), Our Contribution (is part of one of the Activities) in the OCEAN CITIZEN Project aims to help for the Conservation and Restoration of Coral Reefs Habitats.
