Activities
Dr. Folashade Ajagbe is a
trained teacher in the field of Biological Science for over 15 years and
currently a lecturer in the Department of Biological Science, School of
Science, Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria for over years. She
carries out activities to develop her research and professional activities,
both nationally and internationally and contribute significantly to achieve the
teaching, research and administrative service to the mission of the faculty and
institution. Her research interest include: pollution studies in aquatic
Ecosystems, Marine litters’ pollution, microplastics pollution in river bodies,
microplastics pollution in drinking water (portable water and sachet water),
microplastics pollution in fish species, microplastics pollution in
agricultural farms, pesticides residues on farmlands, heavy metal pollution and
Ecotoxicological assessments in aquatic bodies and organisms.
Responsibilities:

Delivering
coursework to both lower and higher diploma students as allocated by the Head
of the Department.
·
Designing seminars and conducting quality research and producing
publications.
·
Obtaining research and training for funding support
·
Interacting with scholarly and professional communities.
·
Overseeing and supervising students carrying out research projects and
mentoring them
·
Assisting in the
development and modification of learning materials, and maintaining records to
monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.
·
Acting as an adjunct lecturer in University of Nsukka, Nigeria: (UNN)
and Federal University Oye –
Ekiti Affiliated to Yaba , College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria.
