Research activities focus on supporting evidence-based management and conservation of marine resources combining the ecological and social sciences. Integrating monitoring data, carbon accounting, genetic analyses, participatory mapping, and remote sensing tools to conduct impact evaluations of management interventions, such as marine protected areas and restoration initiatives, to both people and nature.
