Activities
My main areas of interest are Science Diplomacy, International Education, Capacity Development, and International Cooperation. I have more than 12 years of professional experience in the education and research sector, with a strong background in education management, internationalization of higher education, academic mobility, and the development of international partnerships.
Throughout my career, I have worked in several higher education institutions, leading and supporting initiatives related to internationalization, academic cooperation, strategic alliances, and mobility programs for students, faculty, and researchers. This experience has allowed me to build a strong understanding of the role of international engagement in strengthening educational quality, institutional development, and research collaboration.
Since joining INVEMAR in 2020, I have focused my expertise on promoting international cooperation and capacity development within the field of marine science and research. My work includes managing academic and institutional agreements, fostering international partnerships, supporting researcher mobility, and strengthening the Institute’s participation in leading global scientific networks and organizations such as POGO (Partnership for Observation of the Global Ocean), SCOR (Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research), and IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature).
Enthusiastic about building international partnerships that enhance research, capacity development, and global knowledge exchange.
