Activities
I serve as the Data Monitoring and Evaluation Officer and Training Coordinator for the Eastern Tropical Equatorial Atlantic Ocean Acidification (ETEA-OA) Training Centre.
In my role, I oversee the monitoring, evaluation, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of ocean acidification data submitted by regional focal points. I support countries in preparing and submitting data for Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Indicator 14.3.1 and coordinate the management and maintenance of the regional ocean acidification database.
As Training Coordinator, I organize and facilitate capacity-building programmes, workshops, and technical training for early-career researchers, students, and other stakeholders across the region. My work focuses on strengthening regional expertise in ocean acidification monitoring, data management, and reporting while fostering collaboration and scientific capacity within the Eastern Tropical Equatorial Atlantic region.
