Physical Oceanography

I am interested in sea level and bottom pressure variability in various timescales, from very high frequency seiching to the long term trends associated with Climate Change. I have an interest in improving tide gauge technology, particularly in remote and environmentally hostile locations  and manage the NOC South Atlantic Tide Gauge Network. I am also keen to find ways of improving tidal predictions.
