Research interests include all aspects of Estuarine Ecology and the Ecology of other coastal wetlands. I am especially interested in the following research topics: habitat function of estuarine environments; influence of physical and biological factors on tidal marsh nekton; influences on plant and animal distributions in wetlands; predator-preyinteractions of nekton; creation and restoration of estuarine habitats; assessment of wetland functions; and anthropogenic effects on estuarine communities.
