Through Resolution XXIV-14 the IOC Assembly at its 24th Session decided on the establishment of a Working Group on Tsunamis and Other Hazards Related to Sea-Level Warning and Mitigation Systems (TOWS-WG), tasked primarily to advise the IOC Governing Bodies on co-ordinated development and implementation activities on warning and mitigation systems for tsunamis and other hazards related to sea level of common priority to all Intergovernmental Coordination Group on Tsunami Warning and Mitigation Systems (ICG/TWSs).

The meeting will be held at the IOC/UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. More details on the transport from the airport and other useful information on your stay in Paris may be found on the webpage

Participants are kindly requested to make their own hotel reservation.
The meeting will take place in Room VII UNESCO Fontenoy Building. Meeting time: 9-17:30 both 25 and 26 February 2016.
