Faculty of Aquatic Sciences, Department of Marine and Freshwater Resources Management, Istanbul University, focus on identification of the aquatic animals, determination of the reproduction periods of marine animals, conservation of the endangered species, the protection of the natural aquatic areas, ecology of the phytoplankton, zooplankton, algae, benthic and pelagic communities, determination of the physical and chemical factors influencing the marine organisms, dealing with the investigations on fishing fish population analysis and fisheries management.
