With its ideology of strong emphasis on local R&D as its core and international co-operation as mainstream, Highlander gathered a team comprising of more than 100 R&D local and international engineers to establish a first class navigational information technology and engineering laboratory, designing many navigation, communication and radar surveillance systems and products.
The international co-operation spans over countries such as Russia, Italy, Norway and Germany.
Navigation and communication product range covers Integrated Navigation System (INS), Anti-collision RADAR(ARPA), Steering Control System (SCS), Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS), Gyro Compass System (GYRO), Voyage Data Recorder (VDR), Vessel Management System (VMS), Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS).
Radar Surveillance product range covers detection radar system, oil spill radar, wave measurement radar, ice detection radar, anti-piracy radar, integrated coastal surveillance system.
