Activities

Prime Responsibilities: Minister’s daily and monthly program making. - Keeping close contact with all relevant offices, departments, foreign and national development agencies working in the area of comprehensive disaster management and food security on behalf of hon’ble Minister for Food and Disaster Management. - Facilitating coordination between the Ministry of Food and Disaster management and the different foreign missions and Development Partners FAO, CDMP, UNDP, WB, JICA, CIDA, etc) working closely with Disaster Management activities of GoB. - Arranging policy and information related technical input to be placed before Honourable Minister for his appraisal and finalisation of speech/intervention in different seminar, workshop, policy debate and roundtable discussions related to disaster management and food security issues. - Oversea execution/implementation of the decisions given by Honourable Minister and his cabinet colleagues through subordinate directorates under the ministry (Directorate of Food, Directorate of Relief and Rehabilitation, Disaster Management Bureau and the Comprehensive Disaster Management Programme). - Ensure reflection of Honourable Ministers instruction/ desire and his personnel commitments to be implemented in a timely manner. - Efficient time management for participation of Honourable Minister and his ministry in relevant programme - Efficient schedule and logistic management for Hon’ble Minister and his cabinet colleagues for participation in policy, governance and programme related meetings/seminar etc. - Maintaining personnel administration of Honourable Minister’s office. PREVIOUS ACTIVITIES: - Responsible for implementing government policies for the betterment of the people through sustainable human resources development programs at the local level. - Coordinating and supervising all the development works (GO & NGO’s) - Working as supervising officer to the Union Parishad (Local Government Institute) and coordinating all sorts of Local Government Development programs at Upozilla level.
