Activities

International relations Office Objectives: Development of human resources in the field of R&D through promoting international collaboration opportunities in scientific research: this will take place through explanatory seminars dealing with the submission of research proposals to foreign funding establishments, elaborating the skills of writing and presenting of proposed projects. At least one scientific member of the international relations office is present at all times to aid and assist researchers and provide detailed consultation concerning foreign program announcements. The office enhances increased scientific collaboration via the activation of contacts with different embassies, establishments and organizations through which international cooperation maybe enhanced

At least one scientific member of the international relations office is present at all times to aid and assist researchers and provide detailed consultation concerning foreign program announcements.
The office enhances increased scientific collaboration via the activation of contacts with different embassies, establishments and organizations through which international cooperation maybe enhanced.
Participation in the preparation of diverse scientific research agreements between the National Research Centre (NRC) and other research establishments with common scientific interests as well as application of the agreements already agreed upon.
Regular announcements concerning available opportunities for researchers to apply for fellowships, grants, research programs, exchange visits, scientific awards etc. within the various research and technology sectors.
Progress reports, follow up and orientation of those researchers who have applied for any of the above stated opportunities.
Facilitation of transfer of scientific experience between specialized Egyptian scientists living in Egypt or abroad and NRC researchers of the same corresponding fields through the set-up of joint meetings as well as assistance in choosing common research points important to both parties.
The continuous search for new international funding resources to foster scientific research. Members of the International Relations Office hope that, through their contribution to provide a continuum of new opportunities and innovations, they can help promote international cooperation for the researchers of the NRC to improve the efficiency of competitiveness in science and technology to attain worldwide standards to suit the reputation and status of the National Research Centre.
