SAS Protea Hydrgraphic Survey ShipSince its establishment, the South African Hydrographic Office (SANHO) has played an essential role in supporting safe navigation at sea in the South African region. It supplies charts and publications to the merchant marine and leisure sectors, and is a vital component of the SA's maritime Defence capability. The SANHO is recognized as the Center of Hydrographic excellence in Africa by the International Hydrographic Community through it's proven professional conduct, products, innovation and supreme service.
