Research interests include operational oceanography, ocean wave data assimilation, environmental impact assessment, and sustainable aquaculture. Expertise in remote sensing, GIS-based spatial analysis, and data science tools, enhancing large-scale environmental monitoring, coastal risk assessment, and predictive scenario modeling. Proficient in programming languages (Python, Matlab) on HPC systems for data analysis and integration, supporting morphodynamic studies and hazard forecasting in coastal environments. Skilled in the use of remote sensing tools for ecosystem monitoring, as well as applying GIS for spatial analysis of coastal and marine systems. Focused on developing data-driven resilience strategies and adaptive management solutions for coastal systems, with particular emphasis on climate change adaptation and sustainable development. Experienced in interdisciplinary, international projects, fostering capacity building for early-career professionals and decision-makers. Strong advocate for marine-coastal systems thinking, advancing nature-based solutions and ecosystem-based management for coastal resilience. Eager to deepen knowledge in reef ecology and field skills to complement theoretical expertise.
