My  research  interests  focus  on  flooding-related  hazard  assessment,  including  river  flooding,  storm surges, tsunamis and rising sea levels, and the potential damage they can inflict on existing or future development.  I investigate  the  physical  processes  of  such  flooding  phenomena  through  developing innovative modeling approaches.
