Activities

OceanSITES Executive committee Research on biogeochemical cycling in the open ocean both in the upper water column and near to the seafloor. Focus on the use of time series observations to understand these processes. Research particularly on vertical particle flux using sediments traps and on the vehicles for this flux. Geographically this research is focussed on the Northeast Atlantic and in particular the Porcupine Abyssal Plain Observatory (PAP).
