I specialized in microbial systematics, diversity, and bioprospecting, particularly in the phylum Actinomycetota. Now I'm working as a postdoctoral researcher at Poznan University of Technology's Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy. My research focuses on using methanotrophic bacteria to generate positive by-products using a fermentative and metagenomic approach. I'm particularly interested in the identification and characterization of individual methanotrophs from active methanotrophic microbial consortia using taxonomic, genomic, and transcriptomic approaches.
