A lecturer in ecology, biostatistics, ecological modelling and geographical information systems the Applied Freshwater and Marine Biology and Agriculture and Environmental Science degrees GMIT, and IMBRSea MSc. My research interests focus on the biodiversity and functioning of marine biodiversity hotspots structured by keystone species, the ecosystem services they provide and restorative ecological approaches following anthropogenic impacts, especially the potential of aquaculture for bio-remediation and restoration of biodiversity.
