I, George Amba, am a versatile scientist/engineer in the National Maritime Safety Authority (NMSA) of Papua New Guinea (PNG), currently serving the role as Tides Officer. I hold a Bachelor of Science with Honours Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG). I have nine (9) years of work experience, and I apply skills learnt in the disciplines of Physics, Mathematics, Energy, Environmental Science, Engineering, Human Resources and Education. I am proficient in Operations Management, Executive Management, Project Management and Human Resources (Teaching/Training and Recruitment), and in addition, specialize in maintaining productivity and providing constructive motivation through astute leadership.
