Ts. Dr. Nik Mohd Khairuddin is a dedicated Marine Technology expert with a rich academic and professional background, he dedicated over a decade to advancing marine engineering and design. Holding a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, his research has delved deep into the dynamic motion response of offshore platforms, with a special focus on moored structures in various wave conditions. His expertise is further showcased in his diverse publications, covering topics from floating structure motion, mooring lines and etc.

In the academic realm, he had the privilege of shaping future engineers as a Lecturer at both Universiti Teknologi MARA Terengganu Branch and Ranaco Education and Training Institute, covering a broad range of subjects from basic engineering principles to advanced marine design.

Professionally, he has taken on roles that demanded precision and technical prowess, such as Hull Designer for several projects at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, where he excelled in hull optimization, stability analysis, and meeting international maritime criteria. His hands-on experience was further enriched during his internship at Tok Bali Dockyard & Engineering Sdn. Bhd., encompassing tasks from vessel inspection to intricate mechanical work.

Beyond his technical acumen, he was recognized for his organizational skills, having been appointed as Coordinator for various units and projects, underscoring his ability to lead and manage complex tasks. Passionate about marine technology and committed to pushing its boundaries, he continues to seek opportunities to innovate, educate, and contribute to this dynamic field.
