I have a PhD in Oceanography-Biology and I am project managers at CREOCEAN.
I worked in several research centers on the functioning of coastal ecosystems (University of Rimouski (Canada), University of Rennes, European Oceanographic Observatory of Monaco, ...). My doctorate in Canada focused on the trophic behavior of marine invertebrates in the St. Lawrence Estuary.
I joined CREOCEAN in July 2001. I then held the position of research manager specializing in marine environments within the Environment and Environmental Quality division. I became responsible for the Creocean agency in Languedoc Roussillon in 2007, and became head of CREOCEAN's Research and Development unit in January 2012, then head of the Mediterranean and tropical environment in 2013.
My duties as R&D manager at CREOCEAN led me to develop:
- innovative tools for prospecting the seabed,
- new methodologies and biological indicators for monitoring the quality of the environment,
- methodologies for species transplantation and habitat restoration,
- as well as new dimensioning systems for ERC measurements for impact studies. These different activities enable CREOCEAN to supervise doctorates in marine sciences and publish regularly in high-level scientific journals.
At the same time, I deal with aspects relating to the quality of marine environments, integrated coastal management studies, ecological diagnoses and impact studies. Specialized in marine ecology, I participate or realize numerous inventories of marine species of rocky substrates and soft bottom. Professional diver (Class IIB) and underwater photographer, I am involved in many projects in the Atlantic, Channel, Mediterranean and tropical seas.
