At the Thirty-first Session of the ICG/PTWS, it was decided to continue the Regional Working Group on Tsunami Warning and Mitigation System for the South China Sea Region (WG-SCS). The thirteenth meeting of the WG-SCS elected Ms Suci Anugrah of Indonesia as Chair of WG-SCS and Mr Zongchen Wang of China as Vice Chair of WG-SCS in the intersessional period of ICG/PTWS.
The fourteenth meeting of the ICG/PTWS WG-SCS (ICG/PTWS/WG-SCS-XIV) will be hosted by the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) in Hong Kong, China on 30 November and 1 December 2026, expected to be finished by noon on 1 December.
