Comments Capacity in the area of Physical Oceanography in the WIO region has been fairly enhanced through postgraduate training and regional workshops. There should be deliberate efforts to provide researchers in the region with oceanographic equipments including research vessels to enhance oceanograhic research in the WIO region.
