Degree Ph.D
Research Area(s) Biological Oceanography, Marine Ecology , Pollution , Biological Oceanography, Marine Ecology , Pollution
Research Activities I am interested in answering the following questions- What are the oceanographic, environmental and biotic factors that determine benthic biodiversity patterns at temporal scale and from local to global scale? What is the role of the benthic community in the marine ecosystem functioning? How do benthic communities respond to various disturbances like climate change and how these responses affect the benthic-ecosystem functioning relationship?

Research Region 71
Working languages English
Skills/Expertise Benthos. Expertise in identification of macrofauna.
