Research Activities Recent work involves providing technical expertise for generation and application of long lead flood forecasting techniques for the Region, development of Coastal Hazard DSS, development of end-to-end early warning system for RIMES member countries. His key areas of expertise are hydrological modeling, early warning and dissemination system design, emergency communication, incident command system for disaster response, climate change risk management and integrated water resources management. Fakhruddin graduated in civil engineering and has a post graduation in water resources management from AIT, Thailand. He also studied mathematical modeling and GIS. He is a certified Instructor of ICS from United States Forest Service (USFS).
