Skills/Expertise Research themes: ✫ Spatial Ecology applied to wetlands, with special interest in spatial and temporal variations of biodiversity and biomass of both invertebrate and vertebrate populations ✫ Food Web Modelling, with special interest in functional ecology, trophodynamics, and the carbon budget in both aquatic and terrestrial environments ✫ Global Change and survival strategies associated to the feeding behaviour of both invertebrate and vertebrate populations My data are sourced from the literature, my own work (natural phenomena and manipulative field experiments) and laboratory observations Using a combination of mathematical, statistical and computational methods, and the Ecosystem based Approach (EbA), the results have provided further scientific basis for policy advice in the areas of Integrated Landscape & Wildlife Management
