Research Activities I am interested in how long dolphins retain recognition of each others signature whistles. Furthermore I am interested in what social factors influence the retention of these memories. I'm also looking at signal meaning.

Skills/Expertise My experience is in studying the communication and behavior of whales and dolphins. My work now is mostly with captive populations in zoos and aquariums. I am skilled at acoustic analysis, behavioral observation, statistical methods and experimental design.
