PROFESSIONAL DATA

Degree PhD
Job type Research
Research Area(s) Biological Oceanography, Marine Ecology , Biological Oceanography, Marine Ecology
Research Activities I am researcher at Dept of Marine Plankton, Institute of Opceanography since 1980. My background is biology and taxonomy of phytoplankton with emphasis on Dinoflagellates. I am currently interesting in the ecological function of a tropical estuary in terms of nutrient loads, changes in biodiversity, primary production, nutrient transport and algal blooms.

English
Research Region Vietnamese coast & SCS
Skills/Expertise Biology and Taxonomy of phytoplankton with emphasis on potentially harmful dinoflagellates (eg. Alexandrium, Prorocentrum, Coolia, Ostreopsis, and Gambierdiscus)
