Employed at the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries since 1976. Head of Physical Oceanography Lab (2017-2018), Full professor at the University of Split (since 2000) and University of Zagreb (since 2004). Took part in the courses related to oceanographic instrumentation in Bergen, and data management and analysis in Bidston, Hamburg, and Malta. Participated in a number of national and international Congresses and Workshops, worked on data and information management in the framework of more national and international projects (starting from MEDALPEX and POEM and recently SEADATACLOUD, EUROFLEETS, EMODNET, HAZADR, PERSEUS, QUIETMED, SOUNDSCAPE, etc.). Author or coauthor more than 125 scientific papers published in national and international journals and conferences. Member of CIESM, IEEE, ELMAR, and GIS-FORUM. Croatian representative in IODE. Head of Croatian marine referral centre.
