PROFESSIONAL DATA

Degree Ph.D. M.S. B.A.
Job type Research
Research Activities Develop new approaches to study hydrology and oceanographic problems using tracers (e.g., 2H, 3H, 18O, and noble gases) to define residence time, circulation paths, quantify mixing, and identify source waters. Current research at LLNL involves water and gas phase transport through the vadose zone and introduction of noble gas isotopes into recharge water to track its mixing into a groundwater basin. Previous work involved water mass analysis and residence time studies of the Arctic Ocean.
Research Region Oceans, groundwater, surface water, and vadose zone
