Activities The University Jean Lorougnon Guede and the Laboratory of Environment and Aquatic Biology (LEBA), located at the University Nangui Abrogoua in which I did all my research , working in close collaboration. Our laboratory focuses its research for over a dozen years on the relationship between humans and their aquatic environment. This research aimed to understand and characterize the responses of aquatic organisms to environmental disturbances caused by human activities (processing of aquatic habitats, water pollution) in the river-lake systems in Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea and Liberia. These disturbances affect the aquatic productivity, species composition, structure and dynamics of aquatic populations, trophic and reproductive components and their interactions with the physical and chemical variables.
This knowledge enables an integrated approach to the management of aquatic species and reconciling conservation and resource exploitation. In this context, were carried out: Analysis of the influence of biotic and abiotic factors (predator / prey, relationship competition) (rainfall, flow, dissolved oxygen, nitrates, phosphates, temperature ...) on aquatic communities (fish, shrimp, crab, amphibians, algae, zooplankton, insects, bacteria) lagoons (Aby, Ebrié and Grand Lahou) and rivers (Bia, Agnébi, Tanoé, Eholié, Soumié, Ehania, Bandama, Sassandra, Banco), hydroelectric dams (Ayame 1, Taabo and Buyo), reservoirs of drinking water (city Adzopé) and rivers of Pic de Fon (Guinea) and Nimba (Guinea, Liberia)
